How do you communicate to the campus during an emergency?
All Navigo Systems include the Emergency Mode feature which allows universities & colleges to communicate to the campus within seconds.
Organize communication during times of crisis
Improve university response efforts to emergencies
Provide constant communication of current information to entire student body, faculty, staff & visitors
Keep chaos at a minimum
Navigo integrates with your existing alert systems to provide an immediate announcement and constant stream of information to the entire campus in times of crisis.
As alert systems are triggered, Navigo EMERGENCY MODE is triggered to display specific announcements, TV feeds (internal broadcasts and/or cable TV) and alert status.
Emergency Mode messages may be changed and updated from a central remote location to ensure the most up to date information is always available.
Pre-Set Emergency Mode message screens for various alert statuses i.e. Drill Mode Only, Inclement Weather, Code Red, etc.
Emergency Mode may be triggered automatically via direct integration with your alert systems or manually triggered from a central remote location or via a per Navigo System “hidden” trigger.
As Navigo Systems are triggered into Emergency Mode, corresponding messages may be sent to student body, faculty, staff and campus security via cell phone text message.
