The Howard M. Metzenbaum U.S. Courthouse

The Howard M. Metzenbaum U.S. Courthouse, also known as the Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse, is a monumental anchor to Cleveland, Ohio's Civic Mall. The building was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. On May 27, 1998, the building was officially renamed in honor of U.S. Senator Howard M. Metzenbaum of Ohio. In 2002, extensive rehabilitation and modernization of the building to better serve new client agencies such as the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, the Office of the U.S. Trustee, and the U.S. Marshals Service.

The courthouse needed a reliable solution for the high volume of visitors, guests and employees to navigate the numerous facilities on the campus. Interactive Touchscreen Solutions, Inc. developed a solution that allows the courthouse to provide an abundance of information at a single location in the atrium of the courthouse. Visitors may touch the screen to find courtrooms, information about government agencies and specific locations. Visitors may search for the proper courtroom by checking the cases by number, plaintiff, judge, or courtroom. Maps are available to view so visitors may arrive at the proper location in a timely manner.

In addition to displaying the court docket and other general information, Navigo also displays the most current photos and information direct from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children.
