Inova Fairfax Hospital was expanding by building the Inova Heart and Vascular Institute and their biggest challenge was to provide visitors and patients with optimum wayfinding services. Therefore, they decided to choose Interactive Touchscreen Solutions for their directory and wayfinding needs.

Interactive Touchscreen Solutions, Inc. installed 10 Navigo Wayfinding systems in various high traffic areas of the hospital including in front of the elevators of each floor and in the connecting breezeways to the Main Hospital.

The Navigo Touchscreen Directory & Wayfinding Systems provide visitors and patients of Inova Fairfax Hospital with detailed maps with paths and directions available in multiple languages such as Arabic, Farsi, Korean, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Other information available for visitors and patients on the Navigo System includes scheduled events, general information, short surveys and links to health education web sites.

Additionally, prior to arriving to the hospital campus, patients and visitors can log on to Inova's web site to view and print floor maps and parking passes. As departments and services change locations, information is remotely sent out to be updated to all Navigo Systems and the Internet Wayfinding System.

Lastly, 15 Health Information kiosks were installed to allow patients and visitors to research various health information topics while onsite.
